Privacy notice

Effective September 25, 2026

Deadbounce is based in Richmond, Virginia. This notice covers the resource library, tool finder, downloads, launch lists, and related correspondence.

Browsing and using resources

The library, tool finder, and free downloads do not require an account. Search terms and filters appear in the page URL and can appear in hosting logs. Tool-finder answers stay in page memory; we do not save them to an account or send them to an AI provider.

The prompt builder

Anything you type into a guide’s prompt builder stays in that page. It is not sent to Deadbounce and not saved; it is gone when you close or reload the page. Copying a prompt does not run it. The “Copy and open” links copy the prompt to your clipboard and open the provider’s website in a new tab; nothing is passed to the provider in the link. If you paste a prompt into another service, that service handles the information under its own terms and privacy settings.

Saved workflows

If you save a workflow, the list of saved guide names is kept in your browser’s local storage on your device. It is not sent to us or linked to you, and it does not follow you to other browsers or devices. Clearing this site’s data in your browser removes it.

Fonts and page resources

Fonts, images, and scripts are served from this website. The site does not load fonts or scripts from third-party font or advertising services.

Launch lists and contact

If you join a launch list, we store your email, the list you selected, the permission text and version, and the signup time. Newsletter and Workday Kit permissions are separate. Newsletter delivery and paid checkout are not yet enabled. No order or payment is created by joining a list. Addresses are stored as unverified until an email-delivery confirmation process is connected.

We use the information to manage the requested list and contact you within that permission. The newsletter permission includes practical AI emails and occasional Deadbounce product updates, with a planned frequency of about once a week after launch. The kit list is for its availability notice. We do not sell signup details or add a kit-only signup to the newsletter. Emails sent directly to us are handled through our business email provider, Zoho.

Hosting and abuse prevention

The site uses OpenAI Sites on Cloudflare infrastructure. Launch-list records are stored in the site's Cloudflare-backed database. Hosting providers may process IP addresses, browser details, request times, security logs, and technical cookies. To limit automated form abuse, the application derives a daily changing hash from the request IP address and stores it with an attempt count. These records expire within approximately 48 hours and are removed during later signup activity. The application does not store the raw IP address in its signup tables.

Earlier Deadbounce services

The former consulting forms and developer studio have been retired. This change does not automatically delete earlier records. Previous inquiries may remain in Zoho CRM or Formspree. Earlier signed-in studio project details, site-specific account identifiers, reports, and screenshots may remain in private hosting storage and backups. Local sample history, if previously used, may remain in your browser until you clear its site data. None of that information is repurposed as public library content or automatically subscribed to the launch lists.

Retention and your choices

We aim to review inactive inquiries and unverified launch-list records within 12 months and delete records no longer needed, subject to necessary legal and business retention. Provider logs and backups have their own retention periods. To leave a list or request access, correction, or deletion, email hello@deadbounce.com from the address concerned. Include the list or earlier service involved. We may need to verify a request before acting. Marketing emails, once enabled, will include an unsubscribe method.

Providers and external links

Information may be shared with providers as needed to host and secure the site, store the requested records, or deliver correspondence. We may disclose information when required by law or necessary to protect rights and prevent fraud. Providers may process data outside your location. External tools have separate accounts, pricing, and privacy practices. See the privacy notices for OpenAI, Cloudflare, Zoho, and, for earlier submissions, Formspree.

Analytics, cookies, and children

We have not added advertising trackers, marketing analytics, or social tracking widgets. The site uses browser storage only for the saved-workflows feature described above. We do not track you across unrelated sites. Our page does not change its behavior in response to Do Not Track signals. The site is intended for adults using AI for work; we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child submitted information.

Changes and contact

We will update the effective date when this notice changes. Material changes affecting previously collected information will be communicated as appropriate. Contact hello@deadbounce.com with privacy questions.
